Attitude of Gratitude

My super awesome Bloggy BFF and Sister Wife Leigh Ann from Genie in a Blog has a link each week, starting on Sunday’s, called Attitude of Gratitude.

The purpose is to appreciate what’s around you.

To be thankful.

I’m linking up because I’m thankful for what’s around me yo!

Ok, I’m not thankful for the laundry on the floor or Leah Miller’s twisted purple shirt on So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Seriously Leah? Don’t repeat the mistakes of 1993.

But I am grateful!

For having a pool this year! It’s awesome! I’m not going to sugar coat this. Really, I love it.  And so does my daughter. I’m so glad she’s not afraid of the water!

For After Sun lotion. I got seriously burnt because I forgot to slap sunscreen on myself, not just my child.

For $5 Pizza’s. When our hydro went out this week and then we couldn’t get the water to work after it came back on, Pizza was the answer!

For the new radio the dealership put in for my car. Now I don’t have to drive in silence, I cruise with the sounds of the top 40 cranked, singing the words, with the thoughts of one day embarrassing my child with my love of all things Timberlake.

Hey! What are you thankful for?

You have a pool? I’m self-inviting to yours for when I’m ever in the neighborhood.

I’m thankful for 6 hours of interrupted sleep!

You so rock. I want that pool, except it’s not hot enough here to use it. Freaking BC weather. And I’m on to you, you know. You just posted that so you could show off your man’s sexy chest again.

Our ghetto pool has saved us tons of money this year – now I’ve just got to find us some $5 to go with it.

Ouch, that sunburn looks painful! I’ve done that before too….slather the sunblock on the kids and then totally forget to put it on myself.

Your pool looks fabulous!! It looks like an above ground pool??? I’ve been trying to talk my husband into buying one since we don’t really have the money for an inground pool.

      July 25, 2011 | 7:07 pm

      It is above ground yes.
      Our first time having one.
      I wouldn’t trade it for anything…
well, maybe a couple million lol

Pools are great until you have to clean them. So I’ll just come borrow yours. Also? Your car is sexy.
