He’s just Brian from the Block

Guess what month it is?

It’s November DERRR!

I know.

But not around here. Around these parts it’s MOvember.

And things are getting hairy.

In support of Prostate Cancer Canada I am inviting you to follow Brian on his facial hair journey.

From clean-shaven…

Right through to a full mustache, all in the name of cancer awareness!

I will be documenting his super ‘stach through the month of MOvember, encouraging his grooming creativity, and asking the blogging community to vote on how he should shave next.

Don’t be fooled by the rocks that he’s got…

He’s just, he’s just Brian from the block.

Hope you join in this journey with us!

If you are interested in giving to this worthy cause you can find his donation page here.

Thank you ahead of time for supporting prostate cancer awareness!

If you are interested in raising funds for MOvember, getting a team together and growing out your facial fur, please visit the website. You can also enter as an individual. Remember, women can enter too – Ahem.

Sweet. Are the tats part of the MOvement, too? Or is he just an over-achiever?

Brad is growing one this year as well! Interestingly enough, he generally has facial hair so he just looked weird when he shaved it off to grow a new one!

    Good luck Brian!

This is the first time I’ve heard that MOvember is tied to a fundraiser — that is cool! I just thought it was crazy guys wanting and excuse to grow a mustache once a year.

I’ve got a Movember man down here as well. Mine’s not doing it for charity though, I think he’s just trying to drive me crazy. I might have to change that now.

A lot of people around my office are doing it too.
Some for the cause and some just to drive their wives insane.

GO Brian! Or should I say MO-Brian! Hubby considered participating, but it would take WAY more than a month to reach mustache status. We’re supporting a couple of guys at his work. Great idea – great cause.
