My American Friends and their Thanksgiving

This weekend my American friends celebrate Thanksgiving.

They are terribly behind.

BUT because I’m Canadian and forgive easily I am turning a blind eye to their backwards holidays and am wishing them a day full of love, gratitude, and full bellies.

In the spirit of the American Thanksgiving I took the opportunity to ask my daughter what her thoughts were on the Turkey lovers.

I might be scared if our turkey is purple on Thursday.

I hope she picked a winner in there for you! πŸ˜‰

This is AWESOME! I love that you left the nose picking in! ha ha!
I WISH we had purple turkeys… that would be rad. I’m thankful we don’t eat those beautiful PEACOCKS… we both share a love of those pretty colours right? But we have to wait until November for Thanksgiving because we’re too busy pigging out on all that candy from Halloween in October! Gotta spread out the food fests right?
Your daughter is adorable! Thanks for letting us all see her pick her nose. πŸ˜‰

It’s very unusual that we celebrate the same holiday a month apart.
We should do it at the same time.

How sweet of you…ah the places those little fingers have been. Thanks for leaving in all the parts most people would edit out – they were the best, your face on the down the shirt grab was priceless!

      She loves going down there.
In public she looks down there and says “bra?”

    Oh Americans.
My husband is a half-breed and my mother in law kills the turkey every year. Maybe that’s how Americans eat it…all mummified and tasteless. I suppose it’s kind of purple.
    I love purple.
And kids who pick their nose.

Purple is my favourite colour. Perhaps that’s why she thinks turkey’s are that colour?
      Or she’s onto something?

The part I hated about being pregnant on a holiday was getting full too fast and not being able to eat eat eat.
Hope you can stuff a little bit more food in there.
