What Pinterest Has Taught Me

I love Pinterest.

No really.

I think my work blocked it because I was spending my whole lunch hour on there.

And maybe some working hours.

Pinterest has taught me some seriously kick ass crafts, organizational tips, and given me quotes to live by.

It’s shown me that I cannot make a Christmas tree out of scrapbooking paper, like the link said I could, and that I should stick to purchasing crafts from Esty or at the next community centre cake walk.

what the craft SHOULD look like

what the craft DOES look like

So Christmas trees aren’t my thing!

But I found a few things I could do! Like food!!

Not baking… no-no! I’m no Mama Wants This over here!

Think boxed treats and Peg Bundy!

Also? A great gift for your neighbours or friends!

Original Source

So much creativity!

It oozes out of my pores and makes me Pinterest hungry!

It gives me such a boost of endorphins that I’m not even angry that my Christmas cards haven’t arrived yet.

We just made our own.original source

Okay, I’m a little angry.

I think your Christmas tree could have succeeded.

I am waiting for my work to figure out what Pinterest is too. I LOVE that wonderful time sucker that fills my brain with more ideas then I could possibly ever create. I have found so wonderful meals on it too.
I love Pinterest so much we even dedicated a portion of our blogs sidebar to it. What can I say.

Once again you had my laughing out loud. Even had my girls looking at me like I was strange…well. Happy Pinning. -Laverne

I have the app on my phone, and it’s evil and I love it! I have bought a few things I’ve seen there. I won’t try crafts, I suck at them. I will however be cooking more after the holidays, I am determined to be a genius.

My Christmas cards haven’t arrived yet either! What is up with that? Don’t they realize that people like me order at the last minute and expect them to arrive much faster than they said they would to make up for my lack of planning ahead?!
