On Saturday I dressed quietly while Brian snuggled close to our daughter.
Their soft snores creating a hum in the room with each rise and fall of their chests.
I kissed them both and retreated, ready for my day full of friends, planning, and dress up.
Full of laughter, colour, and conversations.
A day at the Bridal Salon choosing bridesmaid dresses.
My greatest friends.
They could have chosen paper bags and I would have said YES! You look perfect.
And they would have.
Instead of paper bags they chose a dress that flattered all of them.
The day was filled with endless compliments, helpful suggestions, and hilarity.
I felt so much love.
And I am so grateful for it.
