March Break Madness

This week, while families are off enjoying March Break in warm, relaxing places I will be attending training for work.

But because I’m a wicked awesome mother, and soon-to-be wife, I refused to let this get in the way of spending time with my family!

So I’m taking them with me.

What?

Yes, I just said that.

I’m taking Brian, a man who can’t sit still for more than five minutes, and requires a visit to the outdoors to fiddle with something once every hour  (more if he’s got a new tool), and our toddler with me.

To a hotel.

For a week.

And we’re going to enjoy March Break and do fun stuff!

Starting right at 4:00pm, after I’m finished training each day.

I’m talkin’ serious family fun until bedtime at 7:30!

You know? Right during the witching hours.

Oh Mah Gawd, I’m so excited to eat out every night with a toddler and have no other rooms to escape to.

This will be the best March Break EVA!

So good!

Just remember, the restaurants that normally have a really good happy hour, usually let kids eat free!

I am soooo feeling you. You completely crack me up but I know what you mean. Vacactions are wonderful but seriously it is 24/7 in a room with the same people with no escape and expectations of fun… tons of it. Yet we all do it don’t we!!?? You are all gonna have a wonderful time!!! -LV

I’m glad to be home and looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.

It was a great week, even with the toddler being unsure of where we were and scared that we were never coming home.
She grew an attachment to her toys that we brought with us out of fear that we were leaving them behind in the hotel forever.
      Poor girl.

The visited museums and the huge mall that they have. They also took long walks and went to parks! It was fun being in a big city.
