March Break … Wonderful

From what I thought would be a hair pulling, anxiety filled week came a relaxing adventure.

While I still had to spend the majority of our week away on a course, we packed in as much family fun possible.

And having two beds to choose from after an exhausting day didn’t hurt either!

We took time away from social media and t.v. to just be with one another.

We sang songs, took walks, and played games.

There were huge buildings, bright lights, and busy streets that we were eager to experience.

And we held our breath when we reached the foot of their enormity.

Parliament Buildings

We reached the end of the week with sadness instead of relief.

Wishing we could re-do the adventures, the giggles, and the moments of being fully together.

And then like a bolt it hit us.

We can.

Every. Single. Day.

The adventure never ends.

I love when a vacation actually ends up being a vacation!

That’s such a good way to put it! We haven’t been on a family vacation before and I was really nervous. It turned out to be great.

I LOVe this post, my friend. It is so true. Why is it that we don’t recognize this all the time? I mean, I take loads of pictures to capture these kinds of moments, but don’t always realize what they are when they’re happening. Well said!

Love it! Sometimes you just need to go on vacation to remember how much fun spending time together is and how easily it can be done in everyday life. So happy for you!
