It’s My Party…

To celebrate by daughters birthday we picked out a fancy dress.

Went out for ice cream.

And sang Happy Birthday.

There were calls to talk to her from family and squeals of “I’nnn TWO!” from the back seat.

But no party is complete.

Until someone is crying into the cupboards.

That was exactly what I was going to say! Only, I turned 30 a few years back. Still, growing up is rough…apparently, even at 2.

Oh no! Why?!! To be fair though, it was her party and she can cry if she wants to. Please tell me I’m the first one to say that. I’m not even going to read the other comments so I can believe I was in my mind.

Cry if I want to! Cry if I want to!

That’s just me, most mornings when I have to get out of bed.

She is wearing a fabulous dress, BTW.

    Happy birthday!

My oldest used to cry in the corner so much that it stained the paint on the walls.

Hahahaha! Poor S. At leasr she looked good doing it.

Z cried at her party too. Probably because in trying to help her up the playscape i pushed her too hard and smashed her face into the platform. Oops!
