Lost

There are those times when something happens to you and you’re left speechless.

You don’t have the words to explain how it made you feel.

Where you could usually speak endlessly (or type for days) about how an experience made you feel, touched your life, or sent you reeling you are now lost for words.

Nothing comes.

I’m in that space right now.

Floating in limbo waiting for the return of my ability to express myself after I was embarrassed and hurt by someone I look up to.

I have never been lost for words.

But I know that in order to grow we have to learn; we have to make mistakes.

We have to ask questions, challenge rules, and create change.

And sometimes…

We have to face adversity.

I have been in that situation often. The reason why it leaves me speechless is that I believe in the good in others. I always do, so when the love I show is returned in hurt, it leaves me lost and confused.
If I can help in any way, Please let me know. I would love to connect with you <3

You’re exactly right! That’s why it hurts so much, because I believe in the good of people!

Thank you… when someone hurts you it’s very hard to want to let another friend in.
