You Know… “Those” Friends

Every once in a while you’re lucky to have friends come into your life who will go out of their way to make you feel important.

The kind of friends who sit back and let you spill your word vomit all over them because they know that if you keep it in, your head will explode.

They absorb what you’re saying and reach for your hand to let you know, “yah, life sucks sometimes, but we’re here to support you and we’re not going to let you do it alone.”

They are the friends who can see through your fake smile.

These are the ones who notice that you need a weekend away with just the girls and organize it in the blink of an eye.

Complete with all of your favourite foods; drinks, and snacks.

And all peanut free, because your daughter is there and they’ve taken her safety into consideration.

Your heart swells when you look at these friends and see that they’ve organized this bridal shower and girls’ weekend out of love.

Not because they felt obligated.

And there are no words left to tell them what it truly means to you.

Your heart is full and your eyes are spilling over.

“those” friends are exactly the kind that keep us going, right? especially the peanut free gesture, so kind.

They really planned every single detail of the weekend, it was amazing. I am lost for words when I try to tell them just what it meant.

I feel terribly sad for those people who have all negative friends surrounding them. It’s not a good place to be. A positive social circle is sooo important!
