A Birthday

My family celebrated my 32nd Birthday this weekend.

I didn’t.

That number sounds sticky.

It gets balled up in the space between my cheek and gums and gives me dry mouth.

Sometimes when I start to say it out loud I get shivers, pee a little, and pass out.

I start to think about my future break down at age 36; the one where I perm my hair and tattoo eye liner on.

32 means further away from “The Big 3-0” and closer to “eeeewwwwwwww”

It’s not even a real number.

I miss 27

Do you have a favourite age?

Hey now, as someone who is a wee bit older than you let me just say that 32 is not all that bad! Once you pass 35 it is all just a number. 🙂

    32 – baby.
    I’m 36 and I don’t have tattooed eyeliner or a perm. Take heart. 😉

Bahaha! You can take comfort knowing that I’m a whole month older than you are. I don’t mind 32. But 34? I’m gonna have a breakdown.

I was thinking about someone who was around 40 last night, thinking they were a whole 8 years older than me. Then I remembered I’m 34 and they’re only 6 years older than me. Not concerned about the gap as much as I am the fact that I forgot how hold I was.

you know you are SILLY…because you are gorgeous and beautiful from the inside out.

actually my 40’s have been my favorite years. I know who and what I am, I know what length my hair should be, why I should never ever wear turtlenecks and being married, having my sons…writing my face off…I just feel like ME right now.

and you silly goose, you are SO YOU right now. I love ya.
