He’s Back!

When I was a kid our tree usually went up two weeks before Christmas.

None of this rushing the holiday’s business.

But since having our daughter we have a guest who arrives on December 1st and everything has to be perfect for his arrival.

Our daughter doesn’t remember snow, the Christmas tree, stockings, Baby Jesus, or presents, but the child remember Elf.

She remembers that he is a sneaky sort who does mischievous things around the house while she sleeps.

And she remembers that if she touches him he’ll lose his magic and will go back to the North Pole.

She’s retained this but can’t remember that cat litre isn’t a food group.

I don’t have kids, but I think I want to get Elf. Maybe the husband and I can hide him around the house for the other to find. I think he’ll be a naughty elf.

I see know reason why you shouldn’t get an Elf. Your husband loves you and even let you get a creepy sad real tree… go all out and get Elf.

We got an Elf this year… I love that it has magical properties! My daughter refuses to touch it and lets everyone else know that they can’t touch it either!

I think I’m more obsessed with it than my daughter. I make sure all of the children know they can’t touch their elf’s and that they know about the magic
