This year is the first that our daughter really showed excitement over leaving cookies for Santa, gifts, and the baby Jesus.
We might have confused her a little because now she thinks we’re going to Jesus’ birthday party everyday.
It was also the first year that Brian and I had butterflies as we prepared for the morning; dancing around like children making sure everything was perfect.
Or was that the booze that did that?
The morning was peaceful and relaxing, with us waking up before our daughter, and my parents joining us for gifts. We know it’ll only be a couple more years before she’s up at 4am, bouncing on us and begging to go look under the tree.
Booze.
We soaked up our families and friends, ate until we passed out, and then woke up and ate more.
We’re calling this one a Christmas success…

I love the pics! Very cute…I love Booze too….I mean Christmas…
booze booze booze.. I mean deck the halls
My favorite picture is the one of her eating. That look on her face is priceless.
She was sooo good that day, even being sick
Omg you left Santa Triscuits. Hilarious! And I love S’s little red butt by the tree.
I completely forgot to buy cookies.
Yay for an A1 Christmas!
