Pinterest Success – How-to Create a Gallery Wall

I love me some Pinterest.

I go there for the craft ideas, inspirational quotes, hilarity, and home renovation tips.

But I rarely complete any of the projects I pin on there.

I just pin to win.

Until today, yo!

Is it the meds? Is it the weather? Is it the five cups of coffee I’ve had?

When we bought our house I knew I wanted a gallery wall to showcase family photo’s and memories, but had a difficult time following through with my idea.

Where should I start? What pictures do I put up? How much caffeine should I drink before hand?

All questions that plagued me.

So on a day that I was heavily medicated and my daughter was in daycare, I enlisted my husband, who was off with a bad back, and we got to work.

(I know.. my family is a mess.. don’t hate).

This project was seriously easy. I’ve heard of Pinterest projects gone wrong, and have completed one or two, but I give this one an A+.

Here’s what I did…

create a gallery wall

1. Lay out all of your photo’s on the floor and take a picture.

photo wall lay out

This will allow you to look back while you are creating your vision.

2. Hammer some nails!! (or get your injured husband to do it while you sit back and make faces at his work)

3. Stand back and admire your sweat and tears.

Cause you did it! You completed a Pinterest project and have it in your home to prove it!!

Your faces are the best – great job! Please don’t go blaming the coffee, unless it’s for helping make it look so easy
