One Year Ago…

One year ago I stood in my white dress while my anxiety peaked, waiting for the moment I would walk down the aisle.

One year ago I held hands with the man I love and said “I do.”

We danced with friends and family, celebrating our day and how much we love each other.

One year ago I carried a secret I wouldn’t even know existed for another two weeks.

I loved that little secret.

And I still do.

But it wasn’t meant to be… not yet.

One year ago my husband and I committed our love to one another. We stood before our friends and family and brought our tiny family together.

Strengthening our bond.

And one year later?

It’s even stronger.
