What do you want for your birthday?
“A bike, another bike, a bear, a big bear, a giraffe, a huge one, and everything.”
For my daughter’s 4th birthday we are celebrating with a bowling party. There will be bumper pads, bowling shoes, children, cake, presents, and most likely some sort of foot fungus.
A far cry from the family home parties we have been used to.
‘Cause the girl is 4!
Old and knowledgeable now, understanding conversations, giving her opinion, and singing all the songs.
Where did 4 years go?
She was just a babbling, spitting up, mushy little thing that didn’t sleep and barfed all over everyone.
I know because I just obsessively watched all of the videos.
My uterus fluttered and I could feel her kicking.
So there’s no way that she’s 4.
But by some miracle she’s jumped a couple of years and we are celebrating this weekend with Disney’s Frozen everything, except the cake, but we aren’t stressing over it because we couldn’t get a nut free cake so we are just accepting the princess one that we found.
There will be chaos, I imagine some crying, and lots of excitement.
I will be the one crying.
Wish us luck… oh and a Happy Birthday too.
