No Lion, No Bear, No Penguin will do

This weekend we took some time to go to the zoo and explore.

It was sunny, hot, and I forgot to put sunscreen on myself.

But the child was lathered up well.

After the 5 mile hike from the parking lot to get to the actual zoo we were ready to see some serious animals!

But wait.

Was that a stuffed panda?

It was.

So that’s what our daughter focused on the entire day.

A stuffed panda that she HAD TO HAVE!

the little ones in front… not that huge mother

But what about the animals? The girrafes, the bears, the PANDA’s in real life?

Nothing would compare to this stuffed panda that would make her world complete.

No girrafe.

No Penguin.

No lion would make the desire for a stuffed panda disappear.

So we did what any good parent does.

We bribed her.

With good behaviour throughout the entire day, an enjoyable experience for all, and lots of pictures for me.

She got her panda.

And I got a sunburn.

Ahhhh, memories.
