March Break Madness with Netflix

It’s March Break up in here! A week off of school with time for the child to roam free finding pockets of clean house to destroy.

In order to combat the inevitable tornado, I planned outings and concerts, movies and play dates. I made sure our time was scheduled so that boredom was limited and the destruction would be minimal.

But play dates get cancelled and then there’s rain.

So instead of sitting on the couch staring longingly out the window and wishing for a miracle (that was just me), we dug out the Lego Friends, had a Lego party, and put together some Popples to celebrate their new episodes returning to Netflix!

And it’s not just Lego Friends and the Popples we are loving this month, we are putting so many new shows on our favourites list.

Notice a theme? Lego is where it’s at! Not only are we loving the Lego Friends series but we are loving all of the Lego shows on Netflix. Lego is a huge favourite in our home and allows for creativity, imagination, and fun.

It also allows for broken ankles and swear words when you step on one in the middle of the night.

I’m not even kidding, they are little daggers of death.

But our children love them, build immense cities with them, and play for hours with them.

I’d say it all works out.

Broken foot or not.

And with the addition of the Lego series on Netflix, we’re all winning!!
