Pumpkin Carving and Spooky Titles with Netflix

October. My favourite month.

Cooler air, beautiful colours, big sweaters, tall boots, and Halloween.

I love all of the spooky decorations, seeing kids dressed up, the anticipation of trick or treating, and of course, the candy!!

Mmmmm, sweet sweet sugar.

In preparation for the scariest time of year we bundled up, lost ourselves in a corn maze, cheated in order to get out, and got the tiniest pumpkin ever to carve!

Unfortunately our pumpkin wasn’t big enough to use a stencil on but if you’re interested all you have to do is print something off, put it onto your pumpkin, use a pin to push through and outline, and then cut along the lines!

Our pumpkin was a design created by my daughter.

His name; Shore.

I asked why she didn’t name him something scary.

She said, “because he’s not a scary pumpkin.”

Fair enough.

After cleaning up the mess (me, not her, because she refused to touch the “gross goop”), we snuggled in to watch some Halloween favourites on Netflix.

Netflix is getting you ready for Halloween with some awesome options this season that will freak your freak and get you in the spooky spirit.

Have ghostly good times with Casper’s Scare School, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Ghostbusters 2, and The Little Ghost.

Enjoy freaky frights with Stranger Things, DreamWorks Spooky Stories, Monster High: Why do Ghouls Fall in Love, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Peek through your eyes as you watch Hotel Transylvania 2, Vampire Diaries, School for Little Vampires, and Scooby Doo and the Legend of the Vampire.

Bite at your nails while you turn on Monster High: Haunted, Goosebumps, Scooby Doo Zombie Island, and Alvin and the Chipmunks meet Wolfman.

It’s almost time… get your costumes ready, carve those pumpkins, and decorate those doors.

Halloween night is coming!!
