2018 in da HOUSE! Gurl… Where you Been and What are you Watching?

You guys?!

Welcome, 2018!

*Umm, Leighann, it’s February… where have you been?

Sorry, guys. January’s got me like; teenage eye rolls, falls off chair, rolls under bed, doesn’t come out for an entire month out of the year.

January can be a grey month in Ontario. It’s cold, icy, and folk’s be broke from the holidays.

So… I just pulled my iPad under the bed with me and watched Netflix until February knocked on my door.

“Oh hey, girl! Feb here! You wanna watch the newest release of Grace & Frankie?”

Yah, I do.

So I hung out for a few more days with the first week of February under my bed because, Grace & Frankie.

Have you watched?

Because I’ve finished all of it, now I’m generating quite a list of what to watch next.

It’s my list of what to get excited about for 2018!!

And, more reasons for me to slide up under the bed.

As a family we are all watching Breaking the Magicians Code and Trolls The Beat Goes On. These two shows are very different from each other but so fun. One unlocks the secrets that magicians have long kept from the public and the other has even the grouchiest adult laughing by the end.

We’re also really looking forward to A Series of Fortunate Events’ return in March.

And, once my daughter goes to bed, my husband and I, lately, relax with some humour. We are loving the hilarity of Schitt’s Creek and Last Man on Earth. These shows both ask the questions, “what if?” But, they do so with sarcasm and great character chemistry.

What if you were a billionaire and all of your money was gone in a second. How would your world change? How would you adapt? What if you were the last person on earth? What would you do first? Where would you live?

And those guilty pleasures I was watching under the bed?

Sigh.

There are so many! The Mindy Project, Queer Eye, The Fosters, and my favourite, Dynasty.

2018 is going to be a great year. So many different movies, shows, and documentaries coming to Netflix. Something for each person in your family. So many experiences and adventures to share with friends.

I look forward to sharing it all with you.

I am a Netflix affiliate. All opinions are my own.
